About Insect City UK
Hello!
My name is Hayleigh and I run Insect City UK full-time. I am a keen entomologist and invertebrate breeder with a passion for outreach and education. I have both an MSc and BSc (Hons) in Forensic Science, which I completed at the University of Derby. After university, I worked at the University of Nottingham as a Medical Teaching Support Technician, but I could only focus on one thing - BUGS! (...and other inverts).

I finally decided to take the plunge in early 2024, turning my passion into a full-time career! Now, I am pleased to introduce my business, Insect City UK. We provide a diverse range of services, which include parties and educational outreach events. We also provide our Rent an Invert school scheme, or our Bug Buddies at-home scheme - both of which provide you with the experience of caring for, and the opportunity of learning about your chosen insect/invertebrate, which you'll rent for between 1 week to 8 weeks at a time (read more here).

I attend parties, events & festivals, and supply invertebrates for TV/Film/Media (including social media), Universities, student projects and more! If this is something you require, please send an email to insectcityuk@outlook.com. I even provide home boarding for your insects and other invertebrates, so you can relax knowing your pet is well looked after while you're away!

So, whether you're a hobbyist looking to expand your collection, an organisation in need of invertebrates, or planning a party, we've got you covered. Our high-quality invertebrates are sure to impress!
I invite you to join me on this exciting journey and discover the fascinating world of insects and other invertebrates.
Thanks for your interest in my site - my dream couldn't work without all you lovely customers and supporters!

Thank you again,
Hayleigh,
Insect City UK
